Hand-Carved Frame for The Glory of the Morning

This unlocated frame is known from a photograph in the Dawson Dawson-Watson family archives.

It was the original hand-carved frame for the painting The Glory of the Morning that won the National Prize in the 1927 Texas Wildflower Competitive Exhibition held in San Antonio at the Witte Memorial Museum.
